ACK! THE FAREWELL

After long thoughts and consideration, I have decided it is time to retire the band.

When Minnesota Pete Campbell and I started this in March of 2013 in the basement of the Red Carpet sitting in a booth in the Keller Bar, it was about the music and honoring our hero Ace Frehley. We got to play KISS songs with our friends and have fun. It was always about fun. It was never about cosplay, it was always about the music and having fun.

With our hero’s unfortunate passing last year, many more tributes have spawned saturating the market with what has always been niche thing and thank god one of those is his actual band because they, out of anyone SHOULD be ones doing it.

I have been lucky enough to share the stage with so many talented and professional musicians over the past 13 years and play some really cool places from the Sunset Strip to the Monsters of Rock Cruise to the Fine Line in Minneapolis to that now gone Count’s Vamp’d in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. We even got to play on multiple occasions with Tod Howarth from The Comet. Humbled.

Ace’s music has brought us together. Whether it is KISS or his solo career, it has created on big music family and it has been an honor to play that music over the past 13 years.

Between now and August of 2027 we will do a handful of shows to wind it down as our farewell, then do one show a year here in Las Vegas just because KISS & Ace are in the blood and they will always will be.

Thank you to everyone for the support over the past 13 years and thank you to every single musician & friend that is part of the rolodex which means you are part of the family. I am completely humbled by the fact that I was able to grace the stage with each and every one of you.
